China has taken the unprecedented step of publicly
saying it will execute or imprison anyone violating
that country’s strict SARS quarantine. The
Communist government to appears to “get tough” after a
slow start in tackling the flu-like ailment.
Anti-Semitism seems to be rising at an alarming rate
across the world, according to an article posted this
week on an Israeli-based web site. Anti-Semitic writings on the
internet have jumped dramatically in the past 15
years.
We all know that obesity is costing peoples’ lives,
but according to a recent report from the Associated
Press the price of fat is approaching a hundred
billion dollars a year in the USA alone. About half
the cost is being picked up by the government in
programs like Medicaid and Medicare… with the balance
being funded by individuals and their families.
